Finals week is in full swing, but all I can think about is this top. So, as a study break, I wanted to share details about the top and how I styled it. A little backstory: My mom and I are similar in so many ways… One of the ways we’re a little too alike is in our shopping habits. She and I both gravitate towards stripes and solid shirts whenever we’re shopping. My closet is honestly full of stripes and solid colors. I decided that I would stop buying my go-to striped shirts in favor of unique shirts with patterns or beautiful details. I told my mom this, and she actually found this boho blouse at a sweet boutique. She texted me a picture and asked if I liked it. Of course I immediately responded with a yes and ten heart eyes.
I have been on the hunt for a top with this detailing since I first saw how on trend they were. This is my favorite trend for spring and summer. It’s sweet and colorful and so easy to style. I kept it simple by adding my favorite light blue jeans and comfortable wedges. For accessories, I pulled out the turquoise details in the top with my jewelry. During summer, I’m going to style it with jean shorts and sandals. Because this is a looser, white top, it should be perfect for hotter weather.
