Game Day Denim Chambray

If you go to a school in the south, you know that Saturdays are for football. I love dressing for games in the beginning of the year, because it is so much easier. When it gets colder, though, it’s a different story. I never know what to wear for the last few game of the season! I present to you: a game day denim chambray look. And of course, for days that you aren’t actually going to the game but want to support your team – comfortably – the game day denim chambray is your new go-to. 

It’s no secret I’m obsessed with denim chambray tops… as in, I have a tank version, a short-sleeved version, and a long-sleeved version. But can you blame me when they’re so versatile?

This is an updated version of a Canadian tuxedo – aka denim on denim – which I think is a classic look. To make sure you don’t look too Britney and Justin circa 2001, use two different colors of denim. I always go with darker jeans on the bottom and a light denim chambray top. It’s even easier from there – add a top in one of your school colors, and boom, you’ve got your game day look ready! It’s casual but still cute, and absolutely perfect for the times when you have no idea what to wear.
