I think we can all agree – buying gifts for Mom is the hardest. What can you get for the woman who gave everything to you?! I love a good candle or lotion, but sometimes that just doesn’t feel like enough. Enter: JORD Wood Watches.
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work with JORD and share how I styled my wood watch. My mom was obsessed with the watch. I chose the Frankie watch in Zebrawood and I styled it all the time. She always asked me to see when Apple watch bands were available, so of course I was excited to see that now JORD makes them. This collaboration was the perfect opportunity to treat my mom! The Perfect Gift
For me, the perfect gift is a combo of a few things. First, it should be practical – nobody wants a gift that ends up collecting dust, right?! Second, I want it to be beautiful. Of course, everyone has different tastes, so I like to pick pieces that are genuinely classic. I asked my mom what she likes in gifts (#research) and she told me she likes gifts that she’s always wanted, but would never get for herself.
Overall, I think the most meaningful gifts show that you’ve been listening! The next time your friend mentions something she’s been wanting, make a mental note, or even jot it down. I know that my mom will love her JORD watch because she told me about it before. Beyond that, they’re such eye-catching pieces that you know that whenever she wears it, she’ll feel so special.
