Valentine’s Day is almost here, and no matter how you celebrate, this is the perfect time to step out of your comfort zone with fashion! This easy Valentine’s Day outfit is cute & simple enough to fit whatever plans you have. I have been having a major pink moment lately… so clearly I’ll be thriving for Valentine’s Day! But even if you don’t normally love bright pinks, this blush is incredibly wearable. Obviously, this suede skirt is one of most worn purchases from last year. It’s so versatile but still comfortable enough for a non-skirt lover like me.
I am so excited for this season because I love having the chance to show love to my friends! In the past, I’ve celebrated by having dinner with my group, but this year I want to do something different. A few ideas that I love (and am writing about for a College Candy article!) are going to a concert, visiting an art museum, or exploring… and having a photo shoot, of course! I find that my bucket list is always full of so many things I want to do, but when my friends and I are making plans, my mind totally blanks. Then, we end up doing the same old same old dinner and coffee. No hate to grabbing coffee, but I want to mix it up! I hope that by writing down what I do, I’ll be more likely to actually do it.
Above all, this year for Galentine’s Day I want to take a moment to stop and appreciate all of the love that is in my life. My friendships are some of the most incredible parts of my life – and my friends truly inspire me every day to be a better friend and a better person! One thing’s for sure – I’ve got a lot of Galentine’s Day cards to write.
xoxo, Cecilia

I love the skirt with that shade of pink! This time of year is always so fun to incorporate more pinks in to the wardrobe.
