Your New Go-To Summer Outfit

Introducing: your new go-to summer outfit. It’s easy, it goes with any accessory, and it uses pieces you already have in your work wardrobe!

This outfit features pieces from Express, who I was lucky enough to work with again. For the collaboration, I styled pieces from Express for Instagram, but I knew this outfit deserved a blog appearance. This month, I picked up another pair of jean shorts – these have the cutest tie detail! I’ve worn them an embarrassing amount already but I really have no shame. When I was looking for a top to pair with these shorts, this white cami caught my eye. The material is perfect for wearing with a blazer and dress pants during the workweek. Plus, you can style it with shorts for the weekend. Y’all know I am all about choosing pieces that I can wear for any occasion, so I love that this white tank will work for my summer outfits and business casual looks during the year.

One of the products was this straw tote, and I knew it would be perfect for a weekend trip to the beach for a bachelorette party. One of my best friends, LB, is getting married this summer, and this past weekend we celebrated with all of her bridesmaids! We rented a house in Santa Rosa Beach and spent the weekend eating tons of good food, spending time on the beach, and just exploring the area. It was the perfect way to celebrate our friend before her big day. Obviously, this tote bag made an appearance.
