Like most things in my life, the name Sunny Side was inspired by my mom.
For a while I’ve wanted to change the name, design, and focus of my blog. I want my writing to mean something, to truly impact someone’s life (maybe even my own). I loved the Broke Girl’s Closet but I wasn’t inspired anymore.
So… welcome to the sunny side! It’s been a long time coming.
I’m so excited to see where the Sunny Side goes and I’m very grateful that you’ll be with me on this journey. I want to share more of my life and write the kind of posts I would want to read. Posts about my friends, my school, my style. I want to intentionally look at the sunny side of life.
To everyone who’s ever read and supported The Broke Girl’s Closet: thank you so much. You’ve encouraged me in ways you’ll never know. I hope that I can give you that same encouragement on Sunny Side Cecilia.
